Billy Barnet | February 26

A St. Louis institution, Billy Barnett has been a musician for more than 50 years. He got serious after a car crash left him in a cast for 6 months. Billy practiced 12 hours a day, and after seeing Joe Pass & Andres Segovia, decided to study Jazz and Classical music at SIUE. After college, Billy hit the road, touring regionally with Streetcorner Symphony, and opening for blues heavyweights such as Jr. Wells and James Cotton. From Chuck Berry to Yngwie Malmsteem, he’s warmed up stages for a wide range of famous guitar slingers. Billy has a prolific discography producing 13 solo records of mostly original music that lean heavily into, Blues, Americana, and Fusion.
